What is an ISO Standard?

The ISO standards are established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for its acronym in English, is the international entity responsible for developing standards for manufacturing, technical services, trade and communication around the world, is based in Geneva, Switzerland and it is a federation of national organizations among which include AENOR in Spain, DIN in Germany, AFNOR in France, DEKRA in Germany, among others.

For the elaboration of an ISO standard, technical committees established by the respective organization are created to attend particular fields of the technical activity. In this case the ISO standard ISO / IEC 17024 has been prepared by the ISO Committee for evaluation of conformity (CASCO), being submitted to a vote of the international organizations of ISO and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) being approved by the two organizations.

What is evaluated for the International Certification?

 Trajectory: This phase has a quantitative value, that is to say, the Curriculum and its corresponding documentary support (certificates, diplomas, acknowledgments of training, and papers received and imparted, among others) that prove your experience will be analyzed and weighted.

 Capabilities and Expert Experience: Through the analysis of previous works (expert opinions) throughout his professional career.

 Knowledge and Skills: Through the answers issued to the questionnaire of basic and or general topics, as well as the preparation and presentation of a specific opinion.

To access the certification evaluation process, you must fill out an enrollment form and cover the corresponding payment, please request information with one of our representatives to inform you about the procedure and applicable amounts.

The collaborators of the Centro Mexicano de Ciencia y Tecnología Pericial that take part in the evaluation and judgment phases of the candidates for the ISO/IEC 17024 Certification, are fully accredited as evaluators by the international standard, as well as by the Consejo Nacional de Normalización y Certificación de Competencias Laborales (CONOCER).

Likewise, our collaborators are part of the Red Nacional de Expertos Forenses, which is an organization of forensic professionals from all over the country, with prestige and international alliances, recognized since its formation in 2004 for the quality and seriousness with which it addresses the academy.
